The safety points earned through Samho Pay can be converted one-to-one into Kakao Pay Points, which can be used like cash at Kakao Pay's online and offline partner stores. The company expects that Samho Pay will move away from the traditional compensation-based safety management system, which focuses on results such as accident-free records, and instead help employees make safety activities a regular part of their work life.
Vice President Han Jeongdong stated, "With the introduction of Samho Pay, we expect active participation in safety activities from our employees," adding, "We will continue to do our best to realize our core values of people-centered and safety-first management."
