The ‘EBS AI Public Learning Center’ is established as part of an educational policy to address local issues such as the trend of relocating residences to nearby cities for private education, the burden of private education expenses, marriage, and low birth rates.
The public learning centers will be operated through private consignment for eight months from May to December. A total of seven centers will provide educational support to about 230 students, with each center accommodating a minimum of 20 and a maximum of 60 students (simultaneously).
Each center plans to offer customized (level-based) learning services through the EBS commuting learning support system. Additionally, if necessary, they will provide ‘Learning Management Homeroom Teacher Service’ to responsibly assist with learning management, online counseling (mentoring), and lectures (tutoring).
Pocheon City expects that through this initiative, students facing difficulties in learning due to local educational conditions will be able to achieve better results.
