"Up to 7.2% Annual Interest Rate"... K-Bank Opens 'Gunggeumhan Jeokgeum' Season 2
Surpassed 240,000 Accounts Since Last Year’s Launch
Earn Up to 7.2% Annual Interest by Making Daily Deposits for 31 Days
K Bank announced on the 24th that its "Curious Savings," which was launched last year and surpassed 240,000 accounts, will begin Season 2.
The stories of "Curious Savings" Season 2, which offers daily random interest rates and new stories, will also feature the character Dinotaeng.
The second story is set in spring and unfolds fun episodes about Dinotaeng's innocent quokka and friends starting a new school semester. It captures the excitement of getting to know new friends through a secret friend (Manitto) game and the joy of the new semester. The entire story continues over 31 daily episodes until completion.
Curious Savings is a one-month installment savings account where daily deposits reveal that day's random interest rate and a new story. The daily deposit amount ranges from a minimum of 100 won to a maximum of 50,000 won. If you receive the random interest rate every day for 31 days without missing, you can earn up to an annual rate of 7.2%.
The first story, introduced at the launch in November last year, was set in winter and featured Dinotaeng's quokka and friends solving a mystery written in a mysterious letter. Besides the story, it provided daily enjoyment by showing the adorable quokka and friends wearing scarves, wool hats, and more.
Thanks to these entertaining story elements, the product surpassed 250,000 cumulative sign-ups after launch. Notably, 60% of subscribers were customers who had never signed up for a savings account before. The unique charm of Curious Savings, which sparks daily curiosity, offered customers a new financial experience.
Customer anticipation for Season 2 was also high. Previously, 100,000 people applied during the 10-day open pre-notification event held from the 10th to the 19th.
