Ministry of SMEs and Startups to Recruit K-Scouters to Discover Promising Overseas Startups
Discovering Startups Seeking Entry into Korea
Supporting Domestic Settlement and Acceleration
The Ministry of SMEs and Startups announced on the 24th that it is recruiting organizations to participate in the '2025 K-Scouter'.
K-Scouter utilizes a global network to discover promising overseas startups wishing to enter Korea, supports their domestic settlement and initial acceleration, and promotes the Korean startup ecosystem.
As part of the inbound activation policy (overseas entrepreneurs starting businesses in Korea), the K-Scouter program, introduced for the first time last year, is supporting 22 overseas startup companies in 2024 by helping them establish corporations and settle domestically.
This year, the plan is to enhance activities to attract excellent companies such as reverse-flip companies (those relocating their overseas headquarters to Korea) through K-Scouter, thereby improving project outcomes and contributing to the globalization of the startup ecosystem.
