LG Electronics Targets Global Market with 'SKS' at Signature Kitchen Suite
10 Years Since Launch, Brand Name Change
First Reveal of Hidden Induction and More at KBIS
Expanded Built-in Product Lineup
LG Electronics is revamping its ultra-premium built-in kitchen appliance brand ‘Signature Kitchen Suite’ as ‘SKS’ and strengthening its global built-in appliance market strategy.
On the 20th, LG Electronics announced that it will change the brand name to ‘SKS’ to mark the 10th anniversary of the Signature Kitchen Suite launch. The existing built-in brand philosophy of 'True to Food' will be maintained, and the brand name will be changed to the more intuitive ‘SKS’ to accelerate its approach to the premium built-in market.
LG Electronics plans to solidify its leadership as the number one appliance brand by leading the premium built-in market, which continues to grow steadily despite the global economic downturn, with a built-in specialized brand that combines core component technology, AI (artificial intelligence) technology that resonates with customers, and sophisticated design. According to market research firm Euromonitor, the global built-in market size is expected to reach $64.5 billion (approximately KRW 93.35 trillion) this year.

KBIS is an exhibition representing the latest trends in kitchens and bathrooms, attracting built-in appliance customers worldwide, including interior experts, kitchen designers, and architects every year.
At this exhibition, LG Electronics will unveil for the first time a concept product in the form of an island system (furniture composed of drawers or storage shelves) featuring a 'hidden induction' and an integrated hood. It proposes an appliance solution for the overall interior of the kitchen space beyond just a simple product.
The hidden induction installed under the table remains invisible during normal times and only the burner is illuminated when cooking, keeping the kitchen neat. The integrated hood can be stored under the countertop when not in use, and its air curtain technology efficiently removes smoke and steam generated during cooking by guiding them to the lower ventilation outlet.
LG Electronics will also introduce the 36-inch 'CookZone Free Induction Prorange.' This product is equipped with All-free induction, which automatically recognizes the burner according to the size and position of the cookware placed anywhere. Additionally, an oven is installed below the product, allowing various dishes to be cooked simultaneously. This is the first time All-free induction has been applied to a Prorange.
The 'Gourmet AI' technology applied to the product analyzes ingredients using an internal oven camera and recommends customized recipes through AI. Customers can watch the cooking process inside the oven in real time via the LG ThinQ app and save videos and photos.
