Goryeong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province (Governor Lee Nam-cheol) is publicly recruiting preliminary participants for TV Chosun's "Singing Korea" until March 3.
"Singing Korea" is a program where hidden talents from across the country showcase their singing, dancing, and personal skills.

View original imageThe preliminary audition will be held on March 4 at 1 PM at the Gayageum Hall in Daegaya Cultural Nuri, Daegaya-eup, Goryeong-gun. Those wishing to participate in the preliminary audition can visit the Cultural Heritage Division of the county office, the Eup/Myeon Administrative Welfare Centers, apply online via QR code, or apply by email. On-site registration is also available on the day of the audition. After the screening, 10 to 12 teams will be selected to advance to the finals.
Additionally, the final recording, held on March 9 at 2 PM in the Ureuk Hall of Daegaya Cultural Nuri during the Goryeong Market Day, will be hosted by broadcaster Jo Young-gu and feature singers Na Sang-do, Kim Ui-young, Kim Yong-pil, and Lee Ae-ran.
Prizes will be awarded to winners: 2 million KRW for the grand prize, 1 million KRW for the excellence award, 500,000 KRW for the encouragement award, and 500,000 KRW for the popularity award. All finalists will receive medals.
