Participants enjoyed special family time by sledding and exploring the nature ecological park, and shared their experiences and information through self-help meetings.
Hope Bridge’s ‘Bridge School,’ which has continued for four years, is a medical support project worth 5 billion KRW initiated by a donation from a businessman in his 30s. It provides medical expenses support for up to five years to children suffering from severe burns, trauma, and cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, benefiting 87 children so far. In addition to treatment, programs for the emotional recovery of families are also operated.
A guardian who participated in the trip said, “We lacked time together as a family due to going back and forth between the hospital and rehabilitation center,” and added, “Through this trip, the child looked much brighter, and it was a happiness to see the family laugh together after a long time.”
