Cheongsong-gun Expands Support for Vacant House Maintenance... Improved Residential Environment and Reduced Resident Burden
Cheongsong-gun, Gyeongbuk Province, will implement the 2025 vacant house maintenance project starting in February to create a pleasant residential environment by renovating old vacant houses in densely populated residential areas and along roadsides.
The project targets houses and buildings that have been unoccupied or unused for more than one year from the date of usage verification.
To alleviate the economic burden on residents caused by rising prices and increased demolition costs, Cheongsong-gun decided to raise the subsidy for demolition equipment rental and waste disposal fees by 1 million KRW compared to the previous year, providing up to 3 million KRW starting in 2025.
Applications can be made at each eup and myeon office in Cheongsong-gun, and the deadline is December 15, 2025. Vacant house owners can receive subsidies after applying and completing the demolition.
