National Taean Marine Relics Exhibition Hall Hosts Video Contest for Elementary Students
Introduce relics and activities of the exhibition hall in about 1 minute
Four winners to be selected and awarded
The National Heritage Agency's National Marine Heritage Research Institute announced on the 19th that it will hold the 1st National Taean Marine Relics Exhibition Hall Children's (elementary school students) Video Contest from March 4 to April 4.
Videos should be 1 minute long and introduce relics held by the exhibition hall (such as celadon, mokgan, pottery, onboard daily necessities, etc.) or cover the exhibition hall and its activities (underwater excavation, exploration, preservation, exhibition, etc.). Participants can download the application form from the National Heritage Agency and National Marine Heritage Research Institute websites and submit it via email.
Submitted works will be posted on the exhibition hall's Instagram, and a total of four works will be selected based on the combined number of 'likes' received and the evaluation by three experts. Awards include the National Heritage Agency Director's Award (1 person), Chungcheongnam-do Governor's Award (1 person), Taean County Governor's Award (1 person), and National Marine Heritage Research Institute Director's Award (1 person).
The four winners and three additional participants selected by lottery will be given an opportunity to explore the Shinduri Coastal Sand Dunes (Natural Monument), Cheollipo Arboretum, Anheungjin Fortress (Historic Site), and more with their families during a 2-day, 1-night trip from May 10 to 11.
