Additionally, the first quarter target set by South Jeolla Province is 38% (113.5 billion KRW), which has been established as the initial goal. The county has formulated detailed plans to achieve this by issuing orders for various construction and service projects and executing 80% of advance payments and notifications simultaneously.
To this end, a Rapid Execution Task Force led by the Deputy Governor will be organized and operated, and efforts will be made to improve execution performance by encouraging execution through stage-by-stage inspections and report meetings, as well as identifying potential issues in advance.
Following the rapid execution report meeting, the county also discussed response measures to improve the execution rate for the 108 billion KRW in designated and accident carryover project funds from last year.
Furthermore, through a report meeting in December last year regarding proposals for national funding support for 2026, a total of 29 projects with a total project cost of 5.4574 trillion KRW were identified across 10 ministries, including the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs. The county is actively working to secure national funding for local issues by frequently visiting South Jeolla Province and central government ministries.
Deputy Governor Kim Sunju emphasized, "In line with the government's policy of rapid local financial execution, we will promote swift fiscal execution to stabilize livelihoods and invigorate the local economy. In particular, we will pay special attention to carryover projects to ensure the highest possible execution rate."
