KB Kookmin Card, KB Pay App Surpasses 14 Million Registered Users
"Monthly Active Users Increase by 34% in Two Years"
KB Kookmin Card announced on the 19th that the number of subscribers to KB Pay, a comprehensive financial platform launched in October 2020, has surpassed 14 million.
The number of KB Pay subscribers exceeded 11.24 million at the end of 2023, 13.71 million at the end of last year, and 14 million on the 18th.
The monthly active users (MAU) also increased from 6.16 million in January 2023, to 7.53 million in January last year, and 8.26 million in January 2025, marking a 34.1% increase compared to January 2023.
Usage time also increased. The average monthly usage time per person rose from 12.1 minutes in January 2023 to 14.7 minutes last January, an increase of 21.5% (2.6 minutes) over two years.
The number of subscribers to KB Pay's major non-financial service, the shopping and travel service, also surpassed 5.78 million just one year and three months after its official launch.
