This initiative was carried out to inspect the safety management status of residential vinyl greenhouses, which are structurally vulnerable to disasters, and to raise residents' awareness of safety as fire risks increase during the winter season.
The main activities included ▲identifying fire risk factors and providing fire safety consulting ▲checking the status and distributing residential fire safety equipment (fire extinguishers, single-station detectors) inside greenhouses ▲identifying obstacles to firefighting activities, among others.
Park Chunghoon, Chief of Nambu Fire Station, said, "Residential vinyl greenhouses contain a large amount of combustible materials indoors, and due to their structure, they are highly susceptible to rapid fire spread. We will do our best to prevent and respond to fires so that citizens can have a safe and warm winter."
