Korea Student Aid Foundation Achieves 'Excellent Grade' for 3 Consecutive Years in 'Data-Driven Administration Status Check'
The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byeong-il) announced on the 18th that it has achieved the highest grade of 'Excellent' for three consecutive years in the '2024 Data-Driven Administration Status Check' conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety targeting 679 public institutions nationwide.
The Data-Driven Administration Status Check is conducted annually under the supervision of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety in accordance with Article 22 of the Act on the Promotion of Data-Driven Administration. It evaluates each institution using 10 indicators across three areas: data analysis and utilization, data sharing, and management systems, assigning one of three grades (Excellent, Average, Poor).
The Korea Student Aid Foundation received an excellent evaluation by scoring 94.5 points, significantly exceeding the overall institution average of 59.5 points in this assessment. In particular, it was highly praised for realizing scientific administration based on data through discovering data analysis projects and utilizing analysis results in policy, as well as for its active efforts to accelerate the establishment of data-driven administration culture, such as hosting data analysis and utilization contests and awarding contributions to data-driven administration.
Additionally, the Foundation achieved outstanding results in the 'Data Sharing' area through efforts to share and utilize data jointly among public institutions, including systematic metadata registration and management, establishing a roadmap for building shared data, and expanding shared data.
