Jeongeup City Accepting Budget Applications for 'Agriculture, Forestry, Livestock, and Food Projects' Until the 21st
Nine Sectors Including Livestock, Food, and Agricultural Life Sciences Industries
Jeongeup City in North Jeolla Province announced on the 18th that it will be accepting applications for the 2026 budget for agricultural, forestry, livestock, and food projects until the 21st.
This project covers nine sectors, including agricultural production infrastructure, rural communities, food crops, horticultural crops and distribution, livestock, food, and agricultural life sciences industries. Eligible applicants include farmers, producer organizations, and workers in industries related to agriculture, forestry, livestock, and food. Applications for the forestry sector will be accepted separately in June.

View original imageFarmers wishing to apply must review the guidelines and instructions posted on the Agricultural Project Information System, examine the support conditions and details for each project, and then complete the application form. Completed applications, along with relevant documents, should be submitted to the appropriate department at the Agricultural Technology Center or to the industrial team at the administrative welfare center of the respective town, township, or district.
Submitted projects will undergo review by experts and relevant public officials in each sector and will be examined by the 'Jeongeup City Agricultural, Rural, and Food Industry Policy Deliberation Committee.' Following this, budget applications will be submitted to North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province next month.
Mayor Lee Haksoo stated, "We will continue to develop various policies so that Jeongeup's agriculture can further grow and lead to increased income for farming households," and added, "We hope for active participation from many farmers and stakeholders, and the city will spare no administrative support."
