Four Lectures on the Theme "What is Public?"
Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province is recruiting participants for the '2025 Pyeongtaek Cooperative Governance Citizen School' education program until the 3rd of next month.
The 'Pyeongtaek Cooperative Governance Citizen School' is an annual program designed to enhance citizens' understanding and capabilities regarding the public sector, enabling them to participate in concrete policy proposals and joint implementation. This year, it will be held for one month from March 8 to April 4 under the theme "What is Public?"
The education program consists of four lectures: ▲ March 8 - "An Organization Driven by the Voices of Its Members" (Speaker: Koo Ki-wook, CEO of Cooper Facilitation Group) ▲ March 15 - "How Public and Private Sectors Cooperate in the Public Sphere" (Speaker: Kang Jeong-mo, Director of Citizen Education Content Research Institute) ▲ March 22 - "Exploring Cases of Policy Institutionalization of Private Proposals" (Speaker: Kim Jae-chun, Director of Value Mixed Management Research Institute) ▲ March 29 - "Local Finance and Budget" (Speaker: Kim Sang-chul, Policy Committee Member of Nara Salim Research Institute).
