Gwangju Science Center Recruiting Members for Youth Promotion and Communication Group Lucesta
The National Gwangju Science Museum is recruiting the 9th class of Lucesta, who will serve as youth science culture promotion and communication ambassadors, until the 18th of next month.
According to the museum on the 18th, any youth in the Honam region (from 4th grade elementary to high school students) can apply. A total of 100 members will be selected, and activities will take place over nine months from April to December this year.
Main activities include participating in museum exhibitions and educational events, promotional activities, science experiments and content creation to spread science culture, and participating in various contests.
Members will receive benefits such as free admission to the permanent and special exhibitions at Gwangju Science Museum (once a month, up to three accompanying guests), free use of one-day educational programs (once a month, for members only), and recognition of volunteer hours (three hours per month).
This year, additional benefits include awards for outstanding members at the end of the year, discounts on Dongascience science content (25% off regular subscriptions and one month provided, one-month free trial of dLibrary ALL Pass), and more.
