Gongju City to Provide Up to 200,000 Won in Interview Expenses for Young Job Seekers
On the 17th, Gongju City in Chungnam Province announced that it would provide job seekers with up to 200,000 KRW in interview expenses.
The support is available to young people who have participated in job interviews at companies located in Chungnam, Sejong, or Daejeon since January 1 of this year. Eligible applicants must be residents of the city between the ages of 18 and 45, or high school seniors who are about to graduate.
The amount provided is 50,000 KRW per interview, up to a maximum of 200,000 KRW per person, paid through Gongju Pay. Applicants can apply by visiting the Gongju City Job Center in person or by email.
Mayor Choi Woncheol said, "We will actively support talented young people so they can succeed in finding jobs and settle in the region through initiatives such as the interview expense support program for young job seekers."
