Daejeon City to Build Population Policy Platform... Integrating Information on Marriage, Childcare, and Housing
Daejeon City announced that starting from the 17th, it will launch a new 'Integrated Service for Meeting, Marriage, Childcare, and Housing' targeting young adults and the MZ generation.
This service aims to provide a comprehensive set of core population policies in response to low birth rates, allowing users to access support information for each stage of life?from meeting and marriage to pregnancy, childbirth, childcare, and housing?all in one place.
To strengthen population policies that young adults can truly feel, the service was developed through collaboration among seven departments across five bureaus, including the Balanced Development Division and the Informatization Policy Division.
The integrated service platform operates as a one-stop information portal on the main page of the Daejeon City website. It systematically delivers policy information through key public services for young adults and newlyweds provided by Daejeon City and the central government, with application links available for certain programs.
The platform covers 17 key support projects across six areas: meeting, marriage, pregnancy, childbirth, childcare/caregiving, and housing. It also strengthens features such as a population policy news roundup and life-stage-specific policy guidance, enabling citizens to effectively utilize benefits suited to their current stage of life.
Lee Jangwoo, Mayor of Daejeon, said, "I hope this integrated service for meeting, marriage, childcare, and housing will provide practical help to the lives of our citizens."
