Pulmuone to Quadruple Production of Soy Milk Noodles
Transfer of Production from Hyupraksa to Uiryeong Tofu Factory
Expansion of Plant-Based Food Business and Diversification of Portfolio
Pulmuone Foods announced on the 17th that it will transfer the production base of its representative product of Pulmuone Earth Diet, Soy Milk Noodles, to its own production factory, the Uiryeong Tofu Factory, and increase the monthly production volume by more than four times through reinforcement of the production line. Until now, Soy Milk Noodles have been produced by a partner company.
This year, Pulmuone Earth Diet plans to focus on a "healthy diet for me" by promoting 'Zero Noodles' made without any flour, including Soy Milk Noodles, Tofu Noodles, and Konjac Noodles as its main products. In particular, the company plans to activate the Zero Noodles product line centered on the popular Soy Milk Noodles. By transferring the Soy Milk Noodles production factory, it will be possible to produce various products with different thicknesses, shapes, and types of noodles.
Pulmuone changed the product name of its existing soy milk noodle material 'Silky Soy Milk Noodles' to 'Thin Soy Milk Noodles.' The company also plans to launch new bulk Soy Milk Noodles products tailored to channel characteristics to target school meal and dining-out channels. Soy Milk Noodles are plant-based alternative noodles without flour, allowing consumers to easily maintain nutritional balance while reducing unnecessary carbohydrate intake.
