The Korea Naval Academy (hereinafter 'KNA') held the 83rd class cadet entrance ceremony at the Pungdeok Training Ground of the academy.
A total of 168 new naval cadets [142 males (including 4 commissioned cadets) and 26 females (including 1 commissioned cadet)] who completed the 5-week Chungmu Basic Training (pre-entrance training) officially became naval cadets through the entrance ceremony.

The ceremony, held on the 14th under the supervision of Kim Kyung-ryul, Superintendent of the Korea Naval Academy (Lieutenant General), was attended by about 1,000 people including family members, relatives, faculty and staff, senior officers, and cadets.
