Yeongju-si Supports 'Having Your Own Home Parking Lot'… Up to 3.5 Million KRW
Applications Accepted at Administrative Welfare Centers and City Traffic Administration Division Until the 28th
Yeongju City in Gyeongbuk is recruiting applicants for the ‘2025 Home Parking Lot Support Project’ until the 28th to alleviate parking difficulties in residential areas.
This project aims to ease road parking issues and create a pleasant urban environment by supporting residents to create parking lots using idle spaces within their homes.
Eligible applicants include detached houses and facilities requiring parking lots. Applications can be made if they plan to renovate or demolish existing fences and gates or utilize available space to install parking lots.
The support amount covers up to 50% of the total project cost, with up to 3 million KRW per parking space, and up to 3.5 million KRW for creating one parking space at a detached house.
Citizens wishing to apply can visit their local administrative welfare center or the Traffic Administration Division of Yeongju City Hall to submit the application form and required documents. For detailed information, inquiries can be made to the Traffic Administration Division.
Kim Jung-su, head of the Traffic Administration Division, stated, “The Home Parking Lot Support Project not only helps resolve parking difficulties but also contributes to improving the residential environment, so we ask for the interest and participation of many citizens.”
