Premiere of Film 'Sunny Day' Set in Wando Successfully Held
Free Premiere Scheduled in Wando on the 28th
Wando County announced on the 13th that the premiere of the movie 'Sunny Day', set in Wando, was recently held successfully at Yongsan CGV in Seoul.
The premiere was attended by Wando County Governor Shin Woochul, Um Yonghun, CEO of the production company Samgeori Pictures, director Lee Changmu, producer Lee Jooyoung, and lead actors Choi Daniel, Jung Hyein, Han Sangjin, Kim Junghwa, and Kang Euntak.
'Sunny Day' is a feel-good movie about superstar Oh Sunhee (Jung Hyein), who returns to her hometown Wando after a divorce lawsuit and finds the courage for a new beginning through reconnecting with her first love, the pure-hearted Jo Dongpil (Choi Daniel), and her childhood friends.
The movie is set to be released nationwide on the 19th, and a free premiere with the lead actors in attendance will be held at Wando Culture and Arts Center at 6:30 PM on the 28th. Details on how to reserve seats for the premiere will be announced later through the county's social media channels.
Governor Shin Woochul stated, "With 2025 designated as the Year of Visiting Wando, the release of 'Sunny Day' holds great significance," and added, "We wish for the movie's success and will continue to promote the charms of Wando through various media such as films and broadcasts."
Wando County expects that this movie will introduce the beautiful nature and attractions of Wando, greatly contributing to the revitalization of tourism.
