Mutual Promotion, Ensuring Public Safety, and Cooperation for Nurturing Future Talents
Busan Transportation Corporation (President Lee Byung-jin) announced that it has signed a business agreement with Silla University (President Heo Nam-sik) to establish an industry-academic cooperation system.
The signing ceremony held on the 13th at Silla University was attended by Busan Transportation Corporation President Lee Byung-jin, Silla University President Heo Nam-sik, and other related officials.
This agreement was planned to promote mutual development through exchange and cooperation, with active collaboration aimed at achieving goals such as △development through mutual promotion △ensuring public safety △cultivating future talents.
Accordingly, the two institutions will cooperate in various fields, including promoting the use of eco-friendly urban rail and Silla University mutually, conducting joint campaigns for safe use of urban rail for public safety, and implementing a 'Railroad-Aviation' career experience education donation program for youth to nurture future transportation talents.
Lee Byung-jin, President of Busan Transportation Corporation, said, “Through this agreement, the corporation and Silla University will closely cooperate to take the lead in revitalizing an eco-friendly public transportation culture,” adding, “We will do our best to strengthen communication with the local community, including universities, to provide better transportation services to citizens.”
