Sancheong-gun Supports Facility Improvement for General Restaurants
Up to 3.5 Million KRW for Facility Repairs
Apply to the Korea Foodservice Industry Association by the End of This Month
Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 13th that it will promote the '2025 General Restaurant Facility Improvement Support Project.'
This project supports the repair and maintenance costs of aging facilities and equipment such as kitchens, dining areas, and cooking rooms, as well as the replacement of ventilation facilities, to create a safe and hygienic dining environment.
The support target is general restaurants in the region whose business operator's address is in Sancheong-gun and have been operating for more than two years as of the application date.
However, establishments that have received support within the last two years or have been subject to administrative measures such as business suspension for violating the Food Sanitation Act within the past year are excluded.
Kitchen facility improvements are supported up to 70% of the required amount, with a maximum of 3.5 million KRW, while other facilities are supported up to 50% of the required amount, with a maximum of 3 million KRW.
Applications must be submitted with the necessary documents such as the application form, business plan, and estimate to the Sancheong-gun branch of the Korea Foodservice Industry Association by the 28th.

Project recipients will be finally selected through on-site evaluations and reviews, and business owners who receive subsidies must maintain operations for one year after project completion.
