Woori Bank Raises Limit on Mortgage Loan Ancillary Transaction Discount Rate by 0.1%p
Expansion of Benefits Including Automatic Payment of Maintenance Fees
Woori Bank announced on the 12th that it will increase the maximum limit of the discount rate for ancillary transactions related to mortgage loans by 0.10 percentage points (p).
On the same day, Woori Bank stated on its website that it will raise the maximum discount rate limit for ancillary transactions on apartment and non-apartment mortgage loans from the existing 1.00%p to 1.10%p respectively. This means strengthening the benefit of lowering mortgage loan interest rates when conducting ancillary transactions such as automatic payment of apartment maintenance fees during the loan contract period.
The ancillary transaction discount rates include 0.20%p per year for salary transfers or pension receipts, 0.10%p per year for maintaining monthly automatic payment records, 0.20%p per year for normal usage of Woori Card with at least 300,000 KRW monthly spending, and 0.10%p per year for monthly savings deposits of 100,000 KRW or more or subscription to the Housing Subscription Savings.
Additionally, Woori Bank will provide a preferential interest rate of 0.20%p per year to socially disadvantaged groups, and also offer a 0.20%p preferential interest rate benefit to households with three or more children under the age of 19 who take out new housing purchase loans.
