13 Institutions Sign MOU... Seeking Joint and Sustainable Development Strategies for the EduTech Industry Between Universities and Private Sector
Pusan National University (President Choi Jae-won) held the ‘Pusan National University × Dongnam Region EduTech Alliance Establishment and Exchange Meeting’ at Hotel Nongshim on the 11th to revitalize the EduTech ecosystem in the southeastern region.

View original imageThis event was organized to explore ways to foster an EduTech industry where universities and private companies in the region can jointly sustain themselves and to activate the EduTech ecosystem in the southeastern region.
On this day, Pusan National University signed a multilateral memorandum of understanding for mutual cooperation among 13 institutions, including Pusan National University of Education, Busan City, Busan Development Institute, Korea Education and Research Information Service, Busan Regional Industry Promotion Agency, Korea EduTech Industry Association, Korea e-Learning Association, Microsoft Korea, KT, LG Uplus, DataEdu, and The IMC, to promote the activation of the EduTech industry in the southeastern region. They agreed to contribute together to the sustainable development of the EduTech industry by strengthening cooperation among industry, academia, research, and government and promoting mutual growth.
Following this, through the introduction and progress report of the Glocal University 30 Project, including the global EduTech Mecca development project, the introduction of directions and tasks for activating Pusan National University’s EduTech projects, and a comprehensive discussion on ways to revitalize the EduTech industry, the participating institutions shared and discussed their respective plans and strategies for activating the EduTech industry.

Participants also sought various forms of sharing and collaboration between EduTech-related institutions and companies through the Pusan National University × Dongnam Region EduTech Alliance exchange meeting and the Free MOU Zone event, which were held as side events.
