LS Materials Achieves 'Bronze' Rating in Global ESG Evaluation
Excellence in All ESG Areas Including Environment, Labor, and Ethics

LS Materials announced on the 12th that it received a Bronze rating in the sustainability assessment conducted by the global ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) evaluation agency EcoVadis.
EcoVadis, established in France in 2007, is the world's largest ESG evaluation agency. It assesses companies in 150,000 organizations across 185 countries worldwide, evaluating four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, and assigns ratings accordingly.
LS Materials received a Bronze rating, placing it in the top 35% in its first evaluation. In particular, it earned high scores for its environmental protection efforts, including certification of its Environmental Management System (ISO14001) and the establishment of a greenhouse gas emissions management system. Additionally, it received positive evaluations in the labor and human rights sector by being selected as an Excellent Labor-Management Culture Company and a Family-Friendly Certified Company, and in the sustainable procurement sector through the expanded application of ESG evaluation criteria to its partners.

With this rating, LS Materials has further strengthened its competitiveness in the global ultracapacitor (UC) market. Hong Young-ho, CEO of LS Materials, stated, "Through this ESG evaluation, we are now able to proactively respond to the demands of global customers," adding, "We have laid the foundation for entering the AI Data Center (AIDC) and renewable energy power stabilization markets."
