Ulsan Office of Education to Operate 'Month of Focused Preparation for Educational Activities'
Intensive Training by the Office of Education in February... Minimizing Workload
March Designated as a Month Without Office Business Trips or Meetings, Focusing on Educational Activities
The Ulsan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Chang-su) will operate the "Month of Focused Preparation for Educational Activities" during February and March.
Every year in February, the Ulsan Office of Education runs the "Month of Focused Preparation for Educational Activities" to provide an educational environment where teachers can concentrate solely on teaching and student guidance when the new school year begins in March.
During the third week of this month (17th?21st), the office will conduct the "Intensive Training by the Office of Education," consisting of 37 training sessions covering curriculum, evaluation, student life education, and more.
This year, reflecting actively on feedback from schools, the training targets were clearly defined for those responsible for tasks, and depending on the nature of the training?explanation, practice, or guidance?both remote and in-person sessions were held to minimize teachers' workload.
The fourth week (24th?28th) will be dedicated to preparing for educational activities for the new school year. School members will communicate and collaborate through grade-level or subject-specific groups and staff meetings to prepare for the new school year’s educational activities and jointly develop the curriculum.
In March, the office plans to operate a "Month Without Office Business Trips and Meetings" to help create schools where educators can fully focus on educational activities.
