Additional Detection of 42 Brands and 165 Products
Musinsa announced on the 12th that it has additionally detected 42 brands during a comprehensive inspection of down and cashmere material blend ratios conducted on its partner brands.
On the same day, Musinsa disclosed the results of the full inspection of down and cashmere material application products from its partner brands, which has been ongoing since January, through the official newsroom's "Notice" section. Since January, Musinsa has requested documentation and test reports verifying the material composition and blend ratios for 7,968 down and cashmere products, completing investigations on approximately 87% of them.
The investigation revealed violations of the safe transaction policy, including improper labeling and misrepresentation of down and cashmere blend ratios, in 165 products from 42 brands such as Le Ssejiem, Mineral Studio, and Mr. Child.
For these brands, all product sales have been suspended starting from the 11th. Musinsa and 29CM are conducting recall procedures targeting customers who purchased the products on each platform. Brands with two or more problematic products have been subjected to a sales suspension of all products for up to 35 days. For brands that submitted insufficient test reports, such as those unable to verify product names, additional investigations are underway along with a clarification process.
