Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency Opens 'VCT Pacific Kickoff' Fan Communication Event

The fan engagement event 'Valorant Kickoff 2025,' held in collaboration by Busan City, Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency (Director Kim Tae-yeol), and Riot Games as part of the '2025 VCT Pacific Kickoff' tournament, concluded successfully.
The event took place over 10 days from January 31 to February 9 at the Busan Esports Stadium (Brena).
Busan City, Busan Information Industry Promotion Agency (President Kim Tae-yeol), and Riot Games are jointly hosting the fan communication event 'Valorant Kickoff 2025' for the '2025 VCT Pacific Kickoff' tournament.
View original imageVarious interactive spaces were prepared for esports fans, and on the 15th floor, operated as the Valorant training ground, attendees could experience actual gameplay such as shooting accuracy tests and team deathmatch battles. On the 16th floor, alongside a viewing party, diverse events were held including the ▲VCT Pacific Mock Exam ▲Player Match Seat Experience ▲Agent Secret Base NPC Cafe ▲Popup Mission Prize Draw ▲Valorant Mission Play.
Additionally, a viewing party to cheer on the '2025 VCT Pacific Kickoff' tournament and the 'Valorant Kickoff 2025 Amateur Tournament' were held. The winning team, 'SUPERFECT,' was awarded the opportunity to attend the ‘2025 Valorant Masters Bangkok’ live event. On weekends, programs featuring Valorant influencers also took place.
During the matchup event with the amateur tournament champions, visitors also enjoyed fan signing sessions with popular influencers. Participating influencers included ▲Neobul ▲Dohyun ▲Madakgae ▲Kokkiri ▲Team IAM ▲Soboroo ▲Peppa ▲Hoengeng.
Kim Tae-yeol, Director of the Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, said, “We are pleased to successfully conclude the special event 'Valorant Kickoff 2025' as the first event of the year at Brena in cooperation with Riot Games,” adding, “We will prepare various esports contents unique to Busan to offer richer programs to citizens.”
