Hapcheon Police Station to Host 2025 Spring National High School Soccer Tournament
The Heated Competition Begins from February 13 to 27
Hapcheon-gun, Gyeongnam Province, announced on the 11th that the 2025 Spring National High School Soccer Tournament, which will be the battleground for South Korea's future soccer stars, will be held from the 13th to the 27th at the Hapcheon-gun Citizen Sports Park artificial turf stadium area.
Hosted by the Korea Football Association and jointly organized by the Gyeongsangnam-do Football Association and Hapcheon-gun Football Association, this tournament will feature 43 teams nationwide and about 2,000 players competing passionately over two weeks in the late winter cold.
The tournament will proceed with a 3-day group stage of 11 groups, followed by a knockout stage starting from the round of 22, and the final winner will be decided in the final match on the 27th. All matches from the group stage to the final will be broadcast live daily on YouTube.
During the tournament, the county will minimize any inconveniences that the teams may experience by thoroughly managing services and hygiene, especially in lodging and food establishments. In addition, following the winter training camps held since last December, the county plans to create a synergy effect to boost local consumption through hosting this tournament.
