Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam Province, held the '2026 National and Provincial Budget and Public Project Securing Strategy Report Meeting' on the 10th at the county office's large conference room.
Presided over by Deputy Governor Jeong Young-cheol, this report meeting was advanced earlier than usual to proactively secure national and provincial budget funds.

The new projects for 2026 discussed that day include ▲ Sancheong Culture and Arts Center remodeling project (3 billion KRW) ▲ Planned public contest-type regional tourism development project (12 billion KRW) ▲ Expansion of municipal solid waste incineration facilities project (21.7 billion KRW) ▲ Sancheong, Jayang, and Ganjong district natural disaster risk improvement district maintenance project (59.2 billion KRW) ▲ Oejeong district rural village sewage expansion project (11 billion KRW), totaling 38 projects with a total budget of 205.2 billion KRW.
In particular, from the early stages of budget formulation, full efforts will be made to discover new projects by developing the justification and rationale for national and provincial budget support and to establish step-by-step securing strategies.
To this end, plans include frequent visits to Gyeongnam Province, central government ministries, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, and the National Assembly.

Deputy Governor Jeong said, “We will carefully grasp the government's policy directions to discover projects,” and added, “Please concentrate administrative efforts so that projects that can present a future blueprint for Sancheong-gun to take a significant leap forward can be reflected in the budget.”
