Kim Kyung-soo: "What We Need Now Is the Spirit of Roh Moo-hyun... We Can't Win the Presidential Election in This Condition"
"We Must Build a Coalition for National Unity and Victory"
Former Gyeongnam Governor Kim Kyung-soo stated on the 7th, "What we need most right now for regime change, by winning the impeachment ruling and the early presidential election, is Roh Moo-hyun's spirit of national unity."
On the afternoon of the same day, at the regular general meeting of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation Busan Regional Committee, Kim said, "If the impeachment is upheld and an early presidential election is held, the Democratic Party must win, but I wonder if we can win the general election in this state."
Kim said, "To win the presidential election, we need to grow the Democratic Party and bring back those who left disappointed with the party," adding, "If we do not embrace and heal the wounded people inside and outside the party, we cannot win the presidential election."
Kim said, "These days, an absurd situation is unfolding where pro-insurrection sympathizers are increasing and President Yoon Seok-youl's approval rating is rising," and added, "We must create a coalition that can win the early presidential election after impeachment with the spirit of national unity that President Roh Moo-hyun regarded as his lifelong goal."
