MPAGE, a global digital sheet music platform operator, announced on the 7th that it achieved its highest-ever annual sales of 4.7 billion KRW last year since its establishment.
This represents a 38% growth compared to the previous year. Additionally, MPAGE recorded an operating profit exceeding 600 million KRW, achieving profitability for two consecutive years. Approximately 70% of total sales were generated from overseas platforms, proving a successful business model centered on the United States and Japan.
MPAGE operates three global digital sheet music trading platforms: MyMusicSheet (global), Kokoro and Musician (Japan), and Maummaneun Pianist (Korea). These platforms support music creators, composers, and musicians in producing sheet music across various genres, including the latest pop songs, OSTs, and original compositions. By selling these to instrument learners and hobby performers worldwide, they provide creators with new revenue opportunities.
Currently, about 2,000 new creators joined the MPAGE platforms last year alone, bringing the total number of global music creators participating to over 10,000. Most of these are small-scale artists from around the world who continue stable creative activities through digital sheet music as a new source of income.
Based on this, the MPAGE platforms support payments in 20 languages and over 50 local currencies, boasting more than 4 million members worldwide. Furthermore, with top-level technology in content protection and copyright management, MPAGE is leading the global digital sheet music platform market.
