Kyobo Securities to Pay 500 Won Dividend Per Share to Minority Shareholders...Major Shareholder Receives No Dividend for 3 Consecutive Years
Kyobo Securities announced on the 6th that its board of directors resolved to pay a cash dividend of 500 KRW per common share to minority shareholders, while the largest shareholder will receive no dividend.
The total dividend amount is 8.16046 billion KRW, with a dividend yield of 9.3%, and the record date is set for the 28th of next month.
In particular, the largest shareholder has maintained a no-dividend policy for three consecutive years since 2023 to enhance the value for minority shareholders and return profits.
Kyobo Securities’ dividend payout ratios over the past three years were ▲29.4% in 2022 ▲41.8% in 2023 ▲48% in 2024, showing a gradual increase. This reflects the company’s shareholder-friendly management policy based on stable earnings growth and financial soundness.
A Kyobo Securities official stated, "A high dividend payout ratio is an important indicator that leads not only to increased shareholder value but also to enhanced corporate value," adding, "We plan to continuously enhance shareholder value through a dividend policy focused on minority shareholders."
