Anyone can donate firefighting relics deemed to have historical value, including documents, items, clothing, equipment, and photographs, regardless of size or type, from the period following the modern port opening (1976) up to the 1980s.
Donors whose items are accepted will receive a donation certificate, an invitation to the exhibition opening ceremony, and recognition such as being listed in the Hall of Honor for donors at the National Firefighting Museum and on the museum's official website.
The donated relics will be transferred to the National Firefighting Museum to be used as exhibition and research materials.
Choi Jangil, Chief of Seosan Fire Station, said, "We hope for the active participation and interest of citizens so that these valuable relics can be donated and made available to the public."
