The Ministry of SMEs and Startups is blocking access to China's generative artificial intelligence (AI) DeepSeek due to security issues.
On the 6th, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups stated, "Due to security issues with the recently launched DeepSeek AI, the ministry will block access to external internet networks until security stability is confirmed."
Government ministries have consecutively blocked access to DeepSeek. Following the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of National Defense, and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy blocking access the previous day, as of the morning of this day, the Ministry of Unification, Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Ministry of Environment have also taken measures to block access.
