The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family (MOGEF) is operating the '2nd 2030 Advisory Group.'
On the 6th, MOGEF announced that it will hold the inauguration ceremony for the 2nd 2030 Advisory Group at the Government Seoul Office on the 7th and discuss this year's operation plans.
The advisory group consists of a total of 21 young people in their 20s and 30s with diverse backgrounds, including youth aides, university students, youth counselors, social welfare facility workers, and teachers.
Over the next year, they plan to monitor MOGEF policies and serve as a communication channel between the government and the younger generation by conveying the vivid opinions of the youth generation.
This year's advisory group will be divided into four subcommittees by adding a Rights Promotion subcommittee to the existing three subcommittees of Gender Equality, Family, and Youth. They will actively engage in policy discussions, regular meetings, and field visits on topics such as childcare and child-rearing support, work-family balance, support for at-risk youth, and response to digital sex crimes.
Additionally, they will promote cooperative activities with MOGEF-affiliated organizations such as the Korea Institute for Gender Equality Promotion and Education, Korea Healthy Family Promotion Agency, Korea Youth Counseling & Welfare Institute, Korea Youth Activity Promotion Agency, and Korea Women's Human Rights Institute.
