This reaffirmed Saudi Arabia's existing stance that there is no alternative to the "Two-State Solution," which signifies coexistence between Israel and Palestine.
On the 4th (local time), according to Israeli local media Times of Israel and The Jerusalem Post, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release, "We will not normalize relations with Israel without the establishment of a Palestinian state."
The Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said, "The Kingdom's position is firm and unchanged." However, the statement omitted direct references to "the United States" or "Trump," using only indirect expressions.
Local media pointed out that Saudi Arabia's position contradicts the claims made by U.S. President Donald Trump. Times of Israel noted, "This differs from what U.S. President Donald Trump asserted, reaffirming that the government's position is firm and unchanged," and added, "President Trump stated that Saudi Arabia does not require the establishment of a Palestinian state as a condition for normalization with Israel."
On the same day, President Trump held a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House in Washington, D.C., where they discussed the Gaza Strip. Along with this, Trump expressed opposition to residents returning to Gaza and revealed plans for the permanent relocation of Palestinian residents.
According to the plan announced by President Trump, Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip must permanently relocate to neighboring countries such as Jordan and Egypt. CBS explained that on the 25th of last month, President Trump described the plan to relocate 1.5 million people from Gaza to neighboring countries as "meaning to clean everything up completely."
Meanwhile, the meeting between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu also included discussions about the possibility of diplomatic normalization between Saudi Arabia and Israel.

Although Saudi Arabia does not officially recognize Israel, since 2020 it has been negotiating to improve relations with Israel in exchange for U.S. defense agreements and cooperation in civilian nuclear programs. However, after Hamas's surprise attack on Israel in October 2023, war broke out, and relations between the two countries were severed.
