Yongin City Takes Active Steps to Connect Jobs for Young Freelancers
'Young Freelancer' Section Launched on 'Cheongnyeon e-rang' Portal
Connecting Individuals and Organizations in Need of Creative Works
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province has stepped up to support young freelancers in finding jobs.
On the 5th, Yongin City announced that it has opened and started operating a 'Young Freelancer' section on 'Cheongnyeon e-rang,' Yongin's youth portal, to expand activity opportunities and support job connections for local young freelancers.
'Young Freelancer' is a platform that supports young people aged 18 to 39 who live or work in Yongin to register their profiles and portfolios and communicate directly with individuals and organizations in need of creative works. Young freelancers can freely engage in various fields such as design, video/photography shooting and editing, content creation, translation/interpretation, IT development, lectures, and consulting.
The platform usage fee is free, and young freelancers can set their desired working conditions and scope, then negotiate directly with clients to carry out projects. Young people who wish to register as freelancers can sign up on the 'Cheongnyeon e-rang' website and upload their portfolios.
To activate the platform, the city plans to strengthen promotional activities in cooperation with youth governance groups, organizations, and related institutions, and discover hidden young talents in the region through social network service (SNS) campaigns and briefings. Additionally, the city intends to expand collaboration with local institutions and the public sector and encourage active utilization of freelance personnel.
