Bohae Brewery Co., Ltd. Donates 240 Million Won to Gwangju City

View original imageThe city of Gwangju announced on the 4th that Bohae Brewery Co., Ltd. has donated 240 million KRW to support vulnerable groups.
The donation ceremony, held at the City Hall Business Room, was attended by Mayor Kang Gijung, Bohae Brewery CEO Lim Jiseon, Gwangju Branch Manager Park Chansung, and Gwangju Community Chest of Korea Secretary-General Park Heungcheol.
The Gwangju Community Chest of Korea plans to use the donated funds to prepare 10,000 bags of rice (10kg each), which will be delivered to local social welfare facilities and low-income households.
CEO Lim Jiseon said, "I hope this donation will bring hope to farmers and underprivileged families in the Gwangju and Jeonnam regions. We will continue to carry out various social contribution activities so that we can share positive influence with the local community and fulfill our role as a leading local company representing Gwangju and Jeonnam."
Bohae Brewery, headquartered in Mokpo, Jeonnam, is a local company that has continued its social contribution activities and donations for the past five years, including volunteering, goods donations, and the Bohae Scholarship Foundation, amounting to approximately 4.9 billion KRW.
Mayor Kang Gijung said, "Thanks to the generous donation from Bohae Brewery, warmth will be delivered throughout the community. We will ensure that your warm-hearted donation reaches local social welfare facilities and neighbors in need."
