Jeon Seungil, Chairperson of the Gwangju Seo-gu Council, received a plaque of appreciation from the Gwangju Branch of the Korea Women Consumers Association (Chairperson Lee Youngsook) on the 4th.
According to the Seo-gu Council, the Korea Women Consumers Association is a non-profit organization that focuses on activities related to women and consumers, and monitors social issues.

Chairperson Jeon stated, "Although there have been various systems and efforts to protect women's rights, I feel a heavy heart receiving this plaque of appreciation as women's rights are still not fully protected. I will take this as encouragement to continue active and proactive legislative activities for the promotion of women's rights and development."
Meanwhile, Chairperson Jeon has continued to receive various awards, including the 'Segye Ilbo Regional and Social Development Contribution Award' since last year and the '2024 Korea Local Autonomy Evaluation Legislative Grand Prize for Basic Council Excellence.'
