NeursLab announced on the 4th that its self-developed drones, AiDEN and KAiDEN, have been selected as the "Recommended Items for Offset Trade in the Industrial Cooperation Sector" supported by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in the second half of 2024.

View original imageOffset trade is a form of trade in which domestic components are exported or related defense technologies are transferred in exchange for purchasing weapons or equipment from overseas. It is used as an important means to promote industrial cooperation and technology exchange in large-scale contracts between countries. The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy comprehensively evaluates ▲technological excellence ▲suitability ▲corporate capability ▲export ripple effects ▲policy alignment, selects candidates for priority recommended offset trade items, and after review by a working committee, finalizes registration and management. Selected items are recommended to the Defense Acquisition Program Administration and promoted to overseas offset trade target companies. Additionally, support programs such as export consultation meetings expand opportunities for global market entry and contribute to strengthening the international competitiveness of domestic advanced technology products.

Last year, NeursLab recorded export performance of approximately 2 million USD in the defense and public safety sectors with AiDEN and KAiDEN, supplying products to various regions including the United States, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
