Dangjin Mayor Oh Seonghwan to Begin Town and Village Tour on the 6th
Visiting 14 Towns and Districts Until the 24th,
Starting with Songak-eup
Oh Seonghwan, the mayor of Dangjin City, Chungnam, will begin visiting 14 towns and districts within the city, starting with Songak-eup on the 6th and continuing until the 24th, to engage in conversations with residents and listen to local issues and voices from the field.
This tour, marking the fourth year of the 8th popularly elected administration, aims to share and review the city’s administrative direction with citizens, listen to their voices on-site, and concretize their concerns into policies, thereby building a consensus on the city’s development direction.
The tour will proceed in the following order: explanation of the 8th administration’s policy direction, presentation of major local issues by the heads of each town and district, conversation with residents, and visits to key sites of concern.
Mayor Oh Seonghwan stated, “I will listen to the difficulties that citizens experience in their daily lives directly in the field and turn them into concrete projects to address livelihood issues.”
The tour schedule is as follows: △6th Songak-eup, Songsan-myeon △7th Dangjin 3-dong, Sinpyeong-myeon △11th Hapdeok-eup, Ugam-myeon △12th Godae-myeon, Seokmun-myeon △14th Daehoji-myeon, Jeongmi-myeon △17th Myeoncheon-myeon, Sunseong-myeon △19th Dangjin 1-dong △24th Dangjin 2-dong. Each session will be held at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.
