The new road construction project on National Route 79 between Bugok, Changnyeong and Buk-myeon, Changwon is expected to improve accessibility between cities and counties by connecting the previously disconnected national roads across the Nakdong River through the construction of Bugok Oncheon Bridge, contributing to the revitalization of tourism at Bugok Oncheon and Mageumsan Oncheon.
The section of National Route 24 between Goam, Changnyeong and Cheongdo, Miryang is a road with poor alignment and steep slopes, posing a high risk of traffic accidents. The improvement project is expected to enhance road safety and improve the connected transportation network.
