In a post on Facebook that day, Floor Leader Kwon stated, "I should only bring joyful and happy news during the holiday, but my heart is heavy because politics has not fulfilled its role."
Floor Leader Kwon said, "The People Power Party will change," adding, "I will deeply engrave the precious words you have given me in my heart and show a party that is reborn anew."
He also said, "We will firmly stand against the arrogance and tyranny of the major opposition party. We will steadfastly protect the Republic of Korea, which has been built with blood and sweat, and restore national stability," and added, "Therefore, we will return peaceful daily life to the people."
