View original imageIf you find a lost or abandoned animal wandering around the Gyeonggi area during the holiday, you can report it to the National Animal Protection Information System or the animal protection center of the respective city or county. Starting from the 25th, you can access the National Animal Protection Information System, click the banner ‘Animal Found,’ and report the location and type of animal along with photos taken. This information will be automatically sent via text message to the rescue personnel of the city or county, who will then coordinate with the animal protection center to carry out the rescue of the lost or abandoned animal.
If you have lost a pet, you can also create a post with the animal’s photo and the location where it was lost through the ‘Animal Lost’ banner on the National Animal Protection Information System. Since the comment function on the post allows real-time information sharing with finders, it is recommended to check the ‘Animal Lost’ section when reporting a found animal.
