Ulju-gun Hosts KBS National Singing Contest for the First Time in 6 Years
To Be Held at Ulju Sports Complex on the 15th of Next Month
Applications Accepted from the 24th to the 7th of Next Month
Ulsan's Ulju-gun will hold the ‘KBS National Singing Contest’ at the Ulju Sports Complex in Samnam-eup on the 15th of next month, marking the event's return after six years.

View original imageThe ‘KBS National Singing Contest Ulju-gun Edition’ is being organized to create a harmonious event where Ulju residents can participate and enjoy together, while promoting local agricultural specialties and major tourist attractions to contribute to revitalizing the local economy and enhancing Ulju-gun’s image.
Applications for participation can be submitted from the 24th of this month until the 7th of next month by filling out application forms at the Ulju-gun Office Public Relations Media Division and each eup/myeon administrative welfare center. Residents of Ulju-gun, as well as workers and students within Ulju-gun, are eligible to participate.
Ulju-gun will recruit approximately 300 teams and conduct preliminary auditions on the 13th of next month at the Alps Hall on the first floor of the Ulju-gun Office. After first and second rounds of judging, 15 teams will advance to the finals.
The finals will be held on the 15th of next month at the gymnasium on the second floor of the Ulju Sports Complex. Performances by invited singers including Kim Yeon-ja, Kim Hye-yeon, Yoon Tae-hwa, Bae Jin-ah, and Lee Bu-young will also take place.
To ensure smooth operation of the event, Ulju-gun plans to operate a comprehensive control room to manage safety and order at the venue, as well as parking management.
