Guri-si Operates Traditional Game Experience Event for Lunar New Year at Insect Ecology Center
Various Experience Programs Including Yutnori and Tuho Offered
Guri City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Baek Kyung-hyun) announced on the 22nd that it will operate the ‘Seolnal Traditional Play Experience Yard’ at the Insect Ecology Center for three days during the Lunar New Year holiday (27th, 28th, and 30th), excluding the day of Seolnal in 2025.
Traditional play tools such as large Yutnori, Tuho, spinning tops, and Jegi have been set up in the inner yard of the Insect Ecology Center, and anyone visiting the center can freely use them.
Meanwhile, the Insect Ecology Center serves as an ecological environmental education venue that enhances the ecological sensitivity of children growing up in the city through experiential educational programs and seasonal special exhibitions. The outdoor insect ecology park is equipped with a playground where children can play freely, a zipline play facility, a wild butterfly garden, and resting areas.
