Hwahae, Total Registered Brands Reach 18,260... Partner Brands Increase by 20%
‘2024 Year-End Report’ Released
Birdview, the operator of the beauty platform 'Hwahae,' announced on the 21st that it recorded a cumulative total of 18,260 registered K-beauty brands last year by running various programs supporting the growth of K-beauty brands. The number of partner brands reached 1,540, an increase of about 20% compared to the previous year.
In February last year, Hwahae declared its leap to become a ‘K-Beauty Acceleration Platform’ to help K-beauty brands achieve greater success through global expansion. It operated a ‘Brand Boosting Program’ that accelerates brand growth, including ▲commerce planning exhibitions and ▲advertising and marketing support, with participating brands achieving over a 300% increase in views and reviews.
Especially as global interest in K-beauty surged worldwide, Hwahae launched a ‘Global Web’ that implements Hwahae’s core features such as ▲category rankings and ▲Hwahae Awards in English, enabling K-beauty brands to gain attention not only domestically but also overseas. Within two months, the monthly active users (MAU) surpassed 100,000.
This year, Hwahae plans to focus on expanding its global business by launching a Japanese version of the Global Web and launching marketing projects for collaboration between global influencers and brands, actively supporting K-beauty brands to achieve excellent results in overseas markets.
